TUTOR OR TEACHER-ASSISTED PROGRAM

For parents who might need additional help, we have the Tapping the TAP (Teacher Assisted Program) for tutorials and coaching sessions.

The Teacher Assisted Program (TAP) provides targeted support to students in academic subject areas. In this program, a teacher works with the student one-on-one or in a small group setting to identify and address learning gaps and provide tutoring, practice or reteaching that is tailored to the student's individual needs.

TAP involves regular meetings two times a week, where the teacher provides instruction, guidance, and feedback to support the child's online distance learning. By providing personalized instruction and guidance, TAP can help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their studies and reach their academic goals.

The usual schedule for these one-hour tutorial sessions is on Wednesday and Friday. The teacher and student may also agree on a different schedule based on their preference and availability. It is available for either one-on-one or small group arrangement and may cover various quarterly topics of English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Filipino. Group classes may run for more than one hour.

GOOD & GREAT BRAINS' FLAG PROGRAM

(Homeschooling Kids with Exceptional Needs)

The GOOD & GREAT BRAINS SUPPORT is part of our advocacy on inclusivity as we acknowledge that ALL children deserve equal opportunities to have meaningful learning experiences. We deeply believe that children with exceptional needs are CAPABLE OF SUCCESS if they are given the APPROPRIATE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES based on research, consistent with the principles of equity and unique approaches in education.

It is true that raising or having children with exceptional needs can be challenging, and that the standard education system can present varied barriers to their learning and development.

Some of the challenges faced by children with exceptional needs, including their families, are: inadequate resources, lack of support, limited access to specialized services, and social stigma. These challenges make it difficult for these children to fully participate in educational opportunities and reach their full potential.

Based on R.I.C.E. or Research, Intuition, and Collective Experience of parents living with special needs kids as well as consultants in this field, the GOOD & GREAT BRAINS pathway aims to help ALL children achieve success with an inclusive approach by providing APPROPRIATE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES.

FLAG Program

The F.L.A.G. or Flexible Learning Academic Goals program has three major features to support children with exceptional needs:

1.  Multiple Grade Level Access to the VOLT In LMS

To accommodate readiness and pacing, your child is provided access to multiple grade level content and lessons in the Learning Mangement System for academic support. We all know that generally, children's knowledge and competencies of subject areas are usually not on grade level. This is more apparent in kids with special needs. Multiple access to varied lessons with differentiated approaches can help provide the needed accommodations to meet children where they are. For example, if your child is traditionally classified as Grade 4, your child may need Grade 2 learning content for some subjects or perhaps, Grade 6 lessons in some areas. Being able to access varied levels of difficulty can help you create the best learning experience with your child. Please note that only those with VOLT In LMS subscription can avail of this feature.

2. Good & Great Brains Support Neighborhood

This members-only support group is where parents or guardians can seek and receive advice from a child expert, behavioral therapist, registered nutritionist and dietician and parents with lived-in experiences. Advising is based on research and science as well as anecdotal sharing of similar situations especially as regards social-emotional management and nutrition

3. Support Webinars Specific for Families Homeschooling Exceptional Kids

These members-only support webinars are information sessions and help parents tackle issues they encounter while caring for their children with special needs.

The FLAG program is optional and requires an additional fee of Php3500/school year.

So... in what ways do we help you HOMESCHOOL the victorious way?

1. PARENTING WEBINARS AND CONVERSATIONS

One of the forward steps of any parent who wish to homeschool is to accept the invitation to restructure thoughts and traditional ideas of learning. We conduct webinars for parents for this as well as equipping workshops that aim to deschool and offer a new lens in rethinking and reframing education. These webinars, meetings and conversations are delivered via Zoom, integrated in our social media pages, and Group Chat Neighborhood with our advisers.

2. LEARNERS' VOLT INS - CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, MEET-UPS AND CLUBS

We also conduct online classes and workshops designed for students. In here, we teach and engage our homeschool learners to learn, watch, and engage in meetings that address character development, social-emotional skills, academic study habits and more. We also have Clubs that provide leadership opportunities as well as face-to-face voluntary meetups to explore different places such as museums and parks.

3. As a standard, each homeschool learner receives a code to access the Google Classroom where you can find the child's mini library upon enrollment. You will also be added in the Level Group Chat Neighborhood for quick announcements and messaging your advisers and co-parents. Aside from the E-learning materials, you can also find the links to recorded past Volt ins and the Fillable Grading form.

Victorious Homeschool supports whatever learning methods you prefer - whether with supportive online distance learning, blended learning, digital/modular remote learning, eclectic or a combination of all these methods. We also support your favored educational philosophy - from Charlotte Mason, Classical Education, Montessori, among others. We allow true freedom and flexibility to the highest level while providing you with the needed support.
