Homeschooling is legal in the Philippines and open to all — no matter what your family looks like. You don't have to be rich, a celebrity, an athlete, gifted, special or exceptional to homeschool. No rule makes it exclusive or an out of-reach way of educating children either. Whether you are working, a single parent, or raising multiple-level kids, homeschooling can be made accessible, affordable, and achievable with a little help.
The word "declassified" means to officially declare information; to be no longer secret. And that is what we hope to do here at Victorious Homeschool - we want homeschooling to be DECLASSIFIED, ACCESSIBLE, and DEEPLY UNDERSTOOD by all families.
Homeschooling, a non-traditional learning method or as DepEd defines it, an ADM (Alternative Delivery Mode) of education has been proven to be a better education system for children by many homeschoolers in the Philippines as well as in in many parts of the world. According to the National Home Education Research Institute, homeschoolers score up to 30% higher on tests than traditionally schooled students. In addition, a great number of homeschooled children perform at least one or more steps above their age group.
The commitment, flexibility and parental involvement given to homeschooled kids help them to be more successful and confident. Research also shows that children learn best in a non-pressured environment where educational trauma is avoided. This also fosters Parent-Child connection which presents the roadmap to TRUE homeschooling.
Homeschoolers are more likely to be “well-rounded” and on average, various studies indicate that homeschoolers do well on social, emotional and psychological measures outside of the home as well.
